It's raining in the middle of the night again and had caused me unable to use computer last night with the lightning flashes. Wasn't even able to read newspaper in the living room as the bugs came out flying around the fluorescent light. I had to read the papers in the kitchen. =.=
While reading, I heard some meowing and was shock when the little mother cat brought something into the house through the window. At first I thought that it was a rat, but with close examination it was a little kitty. Oh, the cat had given birth. Later, it brought another one in.
The next morning, the mother cat stupidly bring the little kitties to a cloth near the sink, not fearing that we might step on those little creatures. Mommy and I had to get a box and try to coax it into the cozy new home of the babies. Finally, we got to shift all of them to a safe place, for now.
Both kitties are black, with one obviously a pure black cat. The another is a bit what we called "beggar" colour in our family. I noticed that the kitties were already quite active, concluding that maybe born had been born a day before it shifted into the house.
It also had been a long time since our family name our pets. Uncle Bruno suggested some names, so I thought why not start naming those kitties. He suggested Salem and Darth. Salem is a nice name for a pure black cat in Salem Saberhagen of Sabrina the Teenage Witch's fame. While the "beggar" coloured kitty with the name Darth seems undesirable. Suggestion anyone? Will name those kitties if they survive through the first few weeks.
In Formula 1 racing, it is a 1-2 McLaren finish in the Shanghai Thriller today. While in football, Manchester United beat its cross city rival with a last minute goal, again, this time through the head of Paul Scholes. With Chelsea losing to Tottenham, it seems there is still hope for me to see the Premiership Trophy in OT's cabinet. ^^
That's all for my most happening day of the week. Going to settle some matters this week before going back to KL.
