It had been a while since I changed my blog's title banner. To celebrate the forthcoming Christmas, I had decided to alter it a little, albeit a very lousy piece of work.

Nevertheless, I wanted to speak up a little on this extravaganza atmosphere of Christmas. For me, it was always been a day to commemorate the birth of our savior, Jesus Christ (LOLed, can't believe I say this).
But, the marketers had successfully made this holiday season into a shopping season. This month, or some had started last month, many shopping complexes had decorated their mall with Christmas decorations. Socially unproductive but it help them earn some, or much, money. We, except me, would send our hard earn money to help poor merchants selling their goods. It will be certainly the greatest time of year for those "poor" people working on holidays.
Not much I would say about commercialising a religion as I had already written about it once in a post when I visited the Kek Lok Si last Chinese New Year. Religion, is still an opium, and always be the opium in our society. Anything that relates to religion wins, or get raped by "larger" religion.
I had never celebrated Christmas in the streets of KL, get raped by fake snow in a crowded area, and this year will be the same. But I wish I can find someone special to celebrate a quiet Christmas with. I hope it will be a girl. =.=
