The Champions League final had come to an end earlier and what a season. At the final whistle, Inter Milan won it 2-0 to bring the cup back to the club after 45 years.

The match also saw Jose Mourinho beat the person who brought him to the coaching scene, the guy who now had to satisfy for a silver medal. Inter's season is so exceptional with Mourinho style of tactical football being played. Louis van Gaal, dubbed Mourinho's master, promotes beautiful football in winning but the Special One goes for winning and no other. But, winning is beautiful to the fans too, right?

Inter Milan is really a deserving champ, killing off English champion Chelsea at round of 16, neutralising free flowing Spanish champion Barcelona in the semis and now a perfect display against the German champion Bayern Munich. If you can beat other champions in the Big 5 league, you are really the champion of Europe. It would be godly if they had met and beat Marseille, the French champion.

Obviously the whole team is the winner but who is the biggest winner? My personal opinion would be Samuel Eto'o. He was discarded by the almost certain champion, Barcelona, at the end of last season. Coming to Inter Milan as he was unwanted at is old club, he came to just the right place, and win. Really lucky. It would be even more memorable had he score. Another would be Wesley Sneijder, dumped out by Real Madrid to make way for the new Galaticos Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema and others. Now who's the champion?

There is no loser in that match for both club came to Bernabeu chasing a treble. Wonderful season for both club and Inter just got one step further. But there's one who would be quite disappointed in my opinion, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The guy who caused Eto'o to be discarded, when he go to the champion-apparent Barcelona. Leaving a club where he is a superstar to a club poised to win the trophy, yet his old club won it the very season he left. Really felt pity for him. Maybe he is just not in Mourinho's plan.

The season ended and Mourinho is going for holiday as the FIFA World Cup is non of his business, but there are speculations that the Special One is going to Real. I hope that he will go there and win something, before going back to England and lead my favourite club Manchester United (if they are ready to leave attacking football for Mourinho's tactical football).

If Mourinho's at Real next season, i would surely support them to win the Champions League (only if their opponent is not MU). Let's move on to the World Cup and the new season ahead. ^^ Congratulations to all Internazionale Milano's fans for the treble.
