After a tired day, a good night sleep was so fucking nice, with only the alarm clock that bugged me. T.T Woke up to get ready for the continuation of our Scotland trip. The bus started its engine as the clock stroked 8AM.
Our first destination of the day is the Urquhart Castle, one of the top destinations in my list for UK tours. Too bad we reached there too early, and we were robbed the chance to enter this beautiful castle. This is also the area where the Loch Ness is in its deepest part. No Nessie thou, as expected. LOLx

After a few photo shots, we boarded the bus to the Loch Ness Exhibition Centre nearby. I would definitely like to enter the exhibition but the time constraint meant I need to give in to fate. T.T At least there are some free information in the lobby of the building. As usual, bought nothing but crushed some pennies there.

Next stop, the Fort Augustus Water Locks. This is part of the many locks on the Caledonian Canal. The locks enables connecting between lakes (lochs) to create a waterway for boats without compromising the different water levels of different lakes.

After watching some boats and yachts passed the locks, we continue to Fort William - a small but extremely beautiful town. The gardens and lakes are so beautiful and the town seems peaceful with little traffic to concerned of.

After lunch at the little township, we continue our journey to Glenfinnan - described as the filming location of Harry Potter. =.= Damn are we cheated. LOLx The train in the movie that passes lasted a mere minute and that's all. Really sweating. But the environment there is nice and the hiking was also fun.

After some time beside the lake at Glenfinnan, we started our three-hour long journey to Glasgow where we would stay for the night. The Travelodge at central Glasgow was not as big as the one in Inverness yesterday, but still quite worth the stay.
We had dinner at this restaurant just outside the hotel, operated by Malaysians. The food was nice, and the services provided was even better. After that dinner, we toured the city. Lights played an important row for our beautiful pictures. We got some nice pictures of notable structures around the city.

We went back to the hotel after sending Jacky off to his hotel by cab. Although there's much rushing and I missed many nice place that I wished I had more time at, the second day of the trip was amazing with friends having fun together. ^^
