Day 54 (1): The Sun Never Sets

Today, I started my journey to the west. Contrary to the Chinese Great Classical Novel, my journey there is relatively short. But it is quite a challenging one too, needing me sitting on the plane for 14 hours. =.=

I am already at KLIA when the day started, waiting with my friends at McDonalds. Before the clock struck 12AM, the check-in was passed without hassle. There is also an embrace by grandma as usual. We took one picture before they left me with my friends.

The journey from KLIA to The Forge, the place where I will be staying for the next few months, will be detailed in the "Arabian Sunshine And English Air" post. Fast forward, we arrived at The Forge. Got our room and got back to bathe.

Before bathing, first thing is to get online. The line here is quite fast although it is stated that the speed is just a mere 512kbps. When I went to bathe, I really sweat. The shower drainage is clogged, not seriously but that means I will not get to bathe my usual length. T.T

We met our seniors (Keith and two other which I don't know how to correctly spell their name, but really nice guys), who brought use for our first real meal in Sheffield. The food was amazing, except that no one finished our own part.

A 2 person set is almost equivalent to 4-5 people portion in Tokyo Restaurant. How can human eat such large portion? @@" I had a beef noodle and my stomach was filled with just beef. =.= Did not even finish the beef, not to say the noodles.

After dinner, the sun still didn't set. It's already approaching 10PM. First time have this experience and it's kind of weird. =.= With the cooling breeze (sometimes freezing), now I know summer is not about temperature, it's about sunshine (almost 3/4 days of daylight).

Please be noted that my diary posts in UK will have the title format of "Day XX (YY): Title", with XX is the age of this blog and YY is the days I am in UK. Thanks for reading my blog.
