Day 174 (121): Manchester Airport Déjà Vu

It's the time, the time to return home. ^^ A tough journey to Machester Airport awaits me. The day did not go as smooth as expected.

One big obstacle, the London Underground strike. Damn it. No other day to strike? Why choose this day? I had to carry 30kg of luggage and walk 5km to Euston station, from the hotel. It was cold outside and hot inside my jacket, sweating seriously. =.=

I walked pass Madame Tussauds, indicating I was half way through. After an hour walk, I finally reach Euston station and waited for the Virgin train to Machester. A connecting train then transfer me to the airport. As usual, I was early. But there was people reaching earlier than me - PuiSan and Lynette.

It was good to see familiar faces on the same flight. I joined their gang and had my lunch and tea with them. Get to know few more friends there. It seems that I just reached this airport few days ago. My last meal in UK was this "Healthy Breakfast" consisting of mix fruits, yogurt and muesli. It was tastily worth my last Pound spent in UK.

We passed airport security after some problem with my hand carry. The cross I bought from Vatican was too sharp but after some check, I was allowed to pass. ^^ After some window shopping at the duty free shop, we board the plane.

Malaysia, here I come! ^^
