4:30AM in Lancaster, it seems like it's going to rain, but it did not materialise. I was already at the railway station at 5:30AM, waiting the train that will bring me to London.
Reached London at 9:30AM and straight away started my tour. First stop, Westminster Abbey. It was a disappointment for me as the magnificent structure did not open its doors until 1:30PM on Fridays.
I then proceed to my next destination of the day - the British Museum. It was quite a rainy London and I braved the rain, walked quite a while before reaching the amazing building. One problem, my luggage.
The museum provides storage area but there's a limit of 8kg. I had to take out some of my stuff and carry along with me into the museum so that my luggage is allowed to be stored.
It was a nice vault of knowledge and one will be able to learn a lot while visiting this famous museum. The details of the tour inside is described in this post: British Museum.
YingChee called me at about 4PM informing about their arrival in London. I then skipped the final few guided tours since it was not of my interest. Leaving the museum, I took the Underground to Victoria coach station, meeting up with the girls and later Keith.
We checked in our hotel, rested before having our dinner. Some chit chat that night about our tours before we got to bed. ^^
