Day 164 (111): If Only Time Turns Back

Today, I woke up before my alarm rang as I was expecting friends that came to Rome by tour. One problem, I was unable to contact them as there is no network coverage in the guest house.
So, I walked myself down to the Termini, not knowing where to meet them. Finally got to contact Thomas and he told me they were at Vatican. =.= Vatican, so hell far from Termini. No worries, there's always the super affordable Metro. Only one Euro for the tickets.
I reached Vatican but they were already in the Basilica of St Peter. So, I waited outside on the St Peter's Square. I waited for quite long and the first familiar face was David and his girlfriend. Then I saw Jerry and SuiSinn. First photo taken was with DeNise.
Finally got to meet YingChee and co followed by TongSeng and Thomas (and his daughters) later. We took some photos together and I followed them for their tour with the tour guide. All day long they were walking and it is actually not so bad following tour.
The managed to visit Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, Piazza Venezia and the Colosseum area. Although not being able to enter and visit in detail everything, they manage to have much fun. I started to think if I had made the wrong decision to go solo.
We had much fun especially at the Colosseum, Roman Forum and the Palatines. We got much photos there. With ample time, we were able to have much chat about where had everyone been.
Joyful times will never last forever. It was time we part but we get to have a group photo taken with their tour guide. Leaving them, I felt that I made the wrong decision. How I wish I can turn back time and follow the tour.
Reaching home, I was tired and wanted to sleep. Had some chat with them as they finally got to online. That's all for my happiest day in Rome. I'm so looking forward to London now. ^^
