Day 129 (76): High Above Blackpool

After a tired yesterday, I slept well over the night. Felt lazy to wake up for the hotel check out. =.= Anyhow, we gathered on time in the reception area to walk around the city.
We had our lunch at KFC before I accompanied them for shopping around some sportswear shops. After the shopping, we went up Blackpool Tower. We were transferred up the seemingly old structure by elevator.
At 380 feet, we had not much to see as the town has only few notable structures (with one which we are on). The wind up on the tower was strong, easily blowing anything light away.
The two attractions up there are the Walk of Faith (which is basically glass panel for us to walk on viewing the bottom) and the highest platform accessible by tourists. 412 feet, no big deal, especially with all the grill preventing people from jumping (falling was what I meant). LOLx
After the sky view of Blackpool, we continued our journey to the third floor housing the Ballroom, which was extremely grand. The is a organist doing his job and some visitors dance on the floor. We took some photos just before the lights were shut.
We then proceed to the hall where there is this circus going on. The circus was nice even though we missed the first half of the show. The rest of the show was quite so so but enough for the value paid.
We had dinner at an oriental restaurant before we parted with 14 person who had an earlier train to catch. We continued taking photos surrounding Blackpool and also the romantic view of the setting sun. I wish there was someone special there to share it with.
Some of us also took a cab to a casino nearby which was part of Genting group. I did not bet but just went in to grab some free food and drinks. We left Blackpool at 10:45PM. On our journey, we met this English guy who shared his sexual experience with us after Kai inquired him. =.= There was laughter all the way.
Now reaching home, viewed the Facebook updates of the past 2 days before getting a nice shower. It was a very happy trip, with it being the last trip before exam, it will surely be treasured more. Hopefully, the will be more time for travel after exam (even better if there is no exam ^^).
