After a 3 hours journey from the Hubs, we finally set our foot on the harbour town of Whitby. Stepping out of the bus, we can feel the breeze of wind that is so cooling, totally different from Malaysian harbour town, most notably Klang. =.= Cannot compare at all. LOLx
As we were hungry, we headed straight to some fish and chips stall as we are advised that the fish and chips here are the best in this nation. The meal was expensive and was totally below our expectation. A great let down, a disappointment. I think after that meal, I might just never touch fish and chips ever again. =.=
First destination after our meal was the Captain Cook Experience. This town is where the famous Captain James Cook once lived, the man who mapped the Newfoundland, the man who sailed around the world three times, although the last time around he died on his journey. The experience was just about sailing on a motor-powered ship and the girls just camwhoring the whole journey. I took some pictures of the little township from out the sea.

Returning back to the land, we walked towards the beach and it was totally not what we expected. Redang have a better beach than this but the water here seems clearer and cooler. ^^ With the sun today is not so bright, we are able to enjoy some dipping in the water, legs only thou.
After some time, we rush back to the pier where there is a ghost house there. We entered and seriously I got scared by the ghost portrayed by a guy. The price for the tickets into the horror house may be expensive but it will surely more worthy than the fish and chips.
We then started to climb up the cliff to the cemetery area around St. Mary's Church and the ruins of Whitby Abbey. We just took some photos around the two structures and did not enter the abbey compound as there's this entrance fee and we did not have enough time to tour the place.

Took some pictures on the field facing the abbey, especially the girls who can't seem to stop ss-ing. =.= The girls took picture in every post possible, from standing to rolling on the field.

We took a group photo and I finally got to take a picture with Andrew, the firecracker guy of SHU. LOLx And they say my tummy can challenge his. Please, you guys see how big is his?

As the time approaching 5PM, we rush down the hill. I manage to take some picture from the hilltop. We stopped at the rest room and somewhat late for 20 minutes. The whole bus was waiting for us and the bus driver seems pissed. Really sorry.

That was the end of our journey, another two and a half hour bus ride home. The township is a wonderful place, it's a shame we have just 5 hours to explore it. I don't know if I have the chance to come again but I will recommend it to all who will be coming to UK in September.
