The Time Machine

I watched "The Time Machine" just before I left house last Saturday for KL. This is one of the movies in my wanted list, and to finish it in a satisfying mood is just a nice start of my day.


This science fiction movie tells about a young scientist (Guy Pearce - the bad guy from "The Count of Monte Cristo) who lost his girlfriend just after he propose. The sad scientist was determined to change the past and successfully build a time machine, that works.



However, he just can't change the ending. He mentioned that he can't save her but only to see her die in a thousand ways. He tried to learn to change the past by going to the future. He got to see modernisation of human, destruction of the moon and new civilisation 200 millenniums later.


He did not found a way to change the past and settled down in the future, he found home. He sacrifices his machine to kill the evil species of new human, and somewhat lived happily future-ly ever after. =.=


Quite interesting storyline but 200,000 years is a number too big. Large or not, it gets an approval from me. Thumbs up!
