Finally got my photos from LiCheng and can finally write something on my trip to the capital of England, London. Let me continue the story from my diary post of that day. We boarded our bus from Stonehenge at 7AM and it took a two hours journey for us to the capital city. Due to the traffic congestion of Monday morning, we had to skip our visit to Tower Bridge. T.T Never mind, I will go there later on my second visit.
Our first stop was the drop off point near the London Eye. First stop and there were so many pictures of landmarks to take. After hastily took some pictures of Big Ben, County Hall and the Thames River, we rush our way to Buckingham Palace to witness the change of guards.

I suggested that we leave these buildings behind first because we have much time to waste after the changing of guards which starts at 11:30AM. The process of the change was a grand event and being put up like a festival. First, we got to see the band of marching guards march towards Buckingham.

Buckingham Palace was crowded with tourist trying to get a glimpse of the event. The event was a complicated one with soldiers marched in different formations, visible and those not visible to the public. After an hour long, the process ended at St James's Palace.

While on our way to St James's Palace following the troop, I also got the chance to get a picture of this Queen Victoria Memorial. They really build these memorials everywhere. =.= A great queen indeed. After the event, we walked our way back to Westminster Bridge, bypassing St James's Park.

The park is just so beautiful with the pond and those creatures living in and on it. Even the squirrel looked more adorable than those fruit thief in my grandpa's durian farm. We finally got to the Westminster complex and got an image of me with the Big Ben.

After some confusion whether or not to cross the road, we proceeded to take photograph with the Westminster Palace which holds the House of Parliament. I took quite many pictures of myself there and also some at the Westminster Abbey.

It is sad that I had no chance to enter the Westminster Abbey as I am tight on budget. The GBP12 fee is really too much for me even I really want to visit the resting place of many deceased royal family members and most importantly, Sir Isaac Newton, the great scientist. I will visit the interior of the building next time if I had the money.

We then continue our journey back north, which brought us up to the street housing the Prime Minister's Official Residence, 10 Downing Street. The security there was tight with so many police officers standing guard at the main entrance. I managed to get few pictures there and also with the Horse Guards a bit up the street.

The street ended at Trafalgar Square, which is quite a beautiful square without green plants. There's also this National Portrait Gallery, which I missed going in because we are too hungry and wanted to rush to China Town to get some rice into our stomach. There's also a Tourism Malaysia Center there too.

Not much to see after the lunch as I followed the girls shopping at those labels outlet. Maybe it's fun for them, but for me shopping is just browsing through random products aimlessly, no target and no reward. After some few hours of shopping, we finally reached the pickup point near Hyde Park.
It was a shame that we did not get to appreciate the scenery at Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens as the time is so limited. What I especially missed-out is Kensington Palace, which is once the residence of people's princess, Diana.
I boarded the bus home with a sense of satisfaction but I will be back for more. Kensington Palace, British Museum, Tower Bridge, St Paul's Cathedral and Sir Isaac Newton, wait for me on my next visit here. I will be back. ^^
