Day 75 (22): Mommy's Signature Omelette

I did not walked out of the apartment today, the first time the day gone by like that. Malaysia, UK, there's no difference. Although nothing really special happened today, there's some cooking worth the blog post today. ^^

Today, chef Aaron is on the dance floor. Erm, typo, it should be cooking table. Dance floor is not my thing. I had my hands on my mom's signature dish, passed down generations to generations, the Chili Dried Shrimp Omelette. Okay, I did exaggerated it but it's still some thing pass down from my maternal grandma (that's what my mom told me).

I spent 1 hour and 15 minutes preparing 2 dishes, another being a Mixed Vegetables with Pork and Japanese Tofu. The omelette can be considered a failure thou as I had to control my handling on the portion of dried shrimps. It's so fucking expensive here in UK. I used half the packet (GBP2.50 per packet) and my pocket is bleeding like hell. Adding to the problem is my friend suggesting more eggs to get a bigger portion of the dish. =.= This dish cost me GBP1.70. (My bro told me mom cooked the same dish in Malaysia today. ^^)

The other dish have more taste to it, and I should have ate more vegetables in Malaysia. And I would, if only mommy and grandma put more oyster sauce into those tasteless vegetables they usually cooked. LOLx The dish cost me GBP1.50.

Quite an expensive meal for two. But who cares as long as I can taste Japanese Tofu and Dried Shrimps. I don't know how some people can eat same thing over and over again. Where's the creativity?

After the cooking (my friend offer to wash the dishes as I did the cooking), and some rest, I'm here reporting my day to my mom, dad, family, friends and some lost readers that stumbled upon my blog. Having some headache and there's blood in my nose for four straight days already. Hopefully is the dry weather and not some serious stuff.
